Hello lovely readers!
Yes, its true! I found out I was pregnant on February 7 and we went to the doctor today and I had my first ultrasound!
I am definitely 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant!!!
The worrier in me said "what if its just chemicals from the clomid" and "you can't tell anyone because it may not work out" and "what if its' ectopic since I have pain". Last week a friend ultrasounded me and didn't find a baby...and I went home and took another test and it was still positive! Since I haven't had nausea or vomiting, I also thought that meant I might not "really" be pregnant.
I have decided to TRUST in the Lord and confess his blessing to our family! His perfect plan will play out whether its the way I want it to happen or not! I trust him to take care of me and our baby and I am looking forward to all that is coming!
Thank you for all your prayers and support...this battle with PCOS and infertility has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through but the Lord is good and has blessed me and my family!
Steve is doing well, he came with me to the doctor and didn't pass out or get queasy...the ultrasound was perfect, there is only ONE baby...(take that, everyone who called me "octomom" when I mentioned fertility drugs), and it is exactly where it needs to be, heartbeat of 123, and measuring 6 weeks and 4 days perfectly.
I go back for a check up March 30...and I am due October 15! My mom and I had lunch today and she insisted on buying my first maternity shirt (even though it will be months before I need it). I picked out a cute pink shirt with a brown scarf at JC Penney. Mom is so excited, this is her first grandchild!
Telling my aunt Rinda was probably the second best moment of the day (after seeing our baby on the ultrasound). She started screaming and hugging me and cried the whole time I was at her house. She took care of me while I was a baby and looks at me like a daughter. Her birthday is February 28 and she said this was the best birthday present ever! Her granddaughter Ashlee is getting married October 10, so that will be a busy week for her!
So, since I am a sappy lady..I went to a copy store, got copies made of baby's first picture, and stopped by Hobby Lobby and bought frames. I have them ready to go for my mom and my mother in law!
The Lord is good, and his love endures forever. I know I can handle whatever comes, good or bad, because he is here with me and knows what is best for me.
Love,
Jen
